Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 154–A complaint alleging commission of congnizable offence is made before a SHO of the police station which does not have territorial jurisdiction over the place of crime, he cannot refuse to record the information–He is to record the information and forward the same to the police station having jurisdiction.
