Hindu Succession Act, 1956–Sec. 6 (Prior to Amendment of year 2005)–When a male hindu dies after the commencement of Hindu Succession Act, having at the time of his death an interest in Mitakshara Coparcenary Property, his interest in the property will devolve by survivorshop upon the surviving
members of the coparcenary–However, his interest in Mitakshara Coparcenary property can be disposed by him by will or other testamentary disposition.
