Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985–Sec. 42–Scope–Though the writing down of information on the receipt of it should normaly precede the search and seizure by the officer, in exceptional circumstances that warrant immediately and expedient action, the information shall be written down later along with the reason for delay.
