Code of Civil Procedure, 1908–Order 41, Rule 27–Scope–If the appellate Court feels that the production of document or any witness shall enable it to pronounce judgment or for any other substantial cause, then it can very well exercise it’s discretion under the provision–In the instant case, lis involved between the parties is a dispute of samaj–It would not be appropriate to interfere in the matter.
