Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 228–Framing of charge–Function of Court–If there is a strong prima facie case against the accused, the trial Court would be justified in framing the charge–It may sift through some evidence but it cannot meticulously examine the evidence collected by the prosecution.
