Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 156(3)–Prior to the filing of a petition u/s. 156(3), there have to be applications u/s. 154(1) & 154(3)–This Court emphasizes the necessity to file an affidavit so that the person making the application should be conscious and not make false affidavits.
