Code of Civil Procedure, 1908–Order 5, Rule 20(3)–Scope–When the service is effected by way of publication by the order of the Court, the Court has to fix ‘’time’’ for the appearance of the defendants, as the case may require–This does not dispense with the requirement of mentioning the actual day, date and year and time for defendant’s appearance in the Court because it is prescribed in format.
