Electricity Act, 2003–Sec. 43–Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 145–Denial from granting the electric connection on the ground that no legal document of the occupying the premises was filed–Petitioner is in occupation of the dwelling house for which the connection is sought–As per Section 43, a person who is the owner or occupier of any premises, is entitled to get the connection–Merely because the proceedings u/s. 145 are going on, it cannot be a ground to deny the electricity connection–Directed to grant the electricity connection.
