Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 391–Application for summoning the concerned ACP–Base of application is a book authored by the said ACP in which the factum of recording of the video of the crime scene was referred–It was absolutely unwarranted to have published the book while the matter is pending at the stage of appeal–However, the video recorded by the witness would be a valuable piece of evidence because it was recorded during the first visit by the police officer at the crime scene–Application deserves to be allowed.
