Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 228–Framing of charge–Functions of Court at this stage–Court can weigh the evidence for the limited purpose for finding out whether or not a prima facie case has been made out and after scanning the material on record with the limited purpose, if a grave suspicion against the accused has been shown which has not been explained properly, then the Court is justified in framing charge.
