Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 482–Quashment of FIR–Earlier, the same offence was alleged in FIR No. 613/2015 and in that police filed negative final report which was admitted by dismissing the protest petition–Now, the same allegations in subsequent FIR can not be allowed to be reopened–Held, second FIR is not maintainable and deserves to be quashed.
