Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act, 1971–Prayer for termination
of pregnancy–Petitioner is victim of rape–Rape victim not only undergoes the mental torture but also suffers physically even to the extent of losing her own life due to unfortunate incident which had taken place beyond her control–Direction is issued for termination of pregnancy–Further direction is also issued to preserve the fetus for the purpose of DNA test, in case, any need arises in future.
