Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 91–Scope–Provision cannot be used for the purpose of collecting evidence in defence or for prosecution–Power has to be exercised sparingly and that too, only for the purpose of satisfaction of the Court to have information relating to any document which it may have reason to believe to be lying in custody of any of the accused or the prosecution witness.
