Hindu Adoption & Maintenance Act, 1956–Secs. 5 & 10(4)–Appellant sought to be declared the adopted son–Dismissal of suit by trial Court–Appreciation of–Plaintiff claimed the adoption on 14.1.1984, however, filed the suit in the year 2004–Non-production of the voter list, ration card, and documents related to employment/ education–Documents executed between parties revealing that it was executed after the death of a natural father of plaintiff–Name of a father was shown as L in the document which negatives the fact of taking adoption in the year 1984–Requirements of Sec. 16 of Act were also not complied–Further, the plaintiff was aged of 16 years on the day of so called adoption, however, no custom or usage was pleaded by him–Held, the suit was rightly dismissed.
