Fatal Accidents Act, 1855–Sec. 1–Award of Rs. 4,23,300/- along with 12% annual interest–Death due to Electrocution–Electric current in support wire of electricity supply pillar–Witnesses of claimants consistently stated that deceased came in contact with a live wire which was in fact a support wire of the pillar and died of electrocution–No contrary evidence–Witnesses stated the age of deceased 35 years and this fact was found supported by the conclusion of police and postmortem report–It is not necessary to prove negligence of the appellants beyond the reasonable doubt–Held, no case is made out for interference.
