Lok Ayukta Act, 1999–Sec. 12(1)–Jurisdiction of Lokayukta or Upa Lokayukta–A Lokayukta or Upa Lokayukta is not the appellate or supervisory authority over the competent forums, created under different statutes, as each of those statutes provides its own remedial steps such an appeal, revision etc.–the parties need to follow the procedure–The Act of 1999 is not meant to override those procedures–Direction given by the Upa Lokayukta for correction of revenue record was beyond the jurisdiction–Set aside.
