Motor Vehicles Act, 1988–Sec. 168–Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989–Rule 10.22(4)–Scope–Though the Tribunal becomes functus officio after passing the award and cannot review the determination for entitlement of compensation under the award, yet by invoking the powers under Rule 10.22(4), it is open for Tribunal to reconsider and vary the order, where it is found just in the circumstances of the case in interest of justice.
