Code of Civil Procedure, 1908–Sec. 151–Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987–Sec. 20–Motor Vehicles Act, 1988–Sec. 173–Application for recalling the order passed by National Lok Adalat–National Lok Adalat enhanced the amount of compensation upto Rs. 25,000/- on the ground of consent of parties–After passing the award, Insurance Company realised the mistake of giving the consent in ignorance of the pendency of it’s appeal and filed this application–Claimants agreed for enhancement of a meagre sum of Rs. 25,000/- with the claim amount of Rs. 29,54,000/- itself is indicator of the fact that they were wary of the appeal filed by Insurance Company–High Court has plenary powers to recall or review the order pased by Lok Adalat–Further, the inherent powers of Sec. 151 clothes this Court with a power to pass such order–Order of reference dated 18.11.2017 is recalled.
