Judicial Officers Protection Act, 1850–Sec. 1–Scope–Provision protects a Judge, Magistrate, Justice of peace, Collector or other person acting judicially from being sued in a civil Court–Protection does not travel to being tried by a criminal Court–Petitioner cannot claim such protection.
