Penal Code, 1860–Secs. 504 & 323–Cognizance for the offence–Justification–Sec. 504 mandates that it should be alleged that the insult was made intentionally and that the accused intended or knew that it was likely that such provocation would cause the person insulted to break public peace or to commit any other offence–Held, cognizance for the offence u/s. 504 deserves to be quashed.
